The operation of fuel injection into the fuel oil injectors of GE-F5 turbine is done through two gear pump models. Hitachi and AEG F5 model turbines use a two-stage gear pump made by Shimadzu, Japan. These pumps are able to provide pressure up to 75 bar and the capacity of pumping gas oil or oil or diesel fuel up to 250 liters per minute. Considering that the driving force of this pump is provided by the accessory gear box, its rotation speed will usually be less than 2000 rpm.
Very high dimensional accuracy, very precise alignment of triple shells, very sensitive and accurate bearings and very low air gap of moving and fixed components are the features of this gear pump model.
